Brenna is a kid, who always shows up to the rink with a smile on her face, and willing to give everything she has. Before I got their as a coach, she was a bench warmer, didnt get many opportunities. She started out for me as a Junior on the 3rd line. She still came to the rink with a smile, worked hard and always is a teammate first. She has been our Captain for 2 years now. She worked and worked and got an opportunity to be on the top line, and hasnt lost that spot since joining it, only improving and making her linemates better. This part of the story is important, because some kids when they get the better opportunities forget where they were when they started, but she hasnt. She continues to show fantastic character every day , by her work ethic, and continues to grow as a leader by her support for her teammates. Her hard work has paid off huge dividends not only for herself, but for our team as well, as going into her Junior year she had 0 points, and just this year alone, her Senior year, she has 5 Goals and 2 Assists thru 7 games in one of the best D1 divisions in the State. This is the type of kid every Coach roots for to succeed. And she has.
