Brendan is a terrific young man and a great teammate to those at De La Salle. Brendan is the kind of young man who always puts his teammates success first, and understands that their success is his success. He is selfless in his approach to the game and works tirelessly at his craft. Brendan has overcome a number of obstacles this season, including an injury that he has played through the entire year. That injury has left his body tired and weak, however Brendan’s character, perseverance, and personal fortitude have carried him through; he has served as an example of what a team-first player is. Throughout this injury, Brendan has never lost faith, he has remained himself, upbeat, positive and coach-able. His smile is contagious, and when he speaks up the team responds to his words. I have been very fortunate to coach Brendan this year, and I know he will move on to bigger and better things!
