Braden Cox exemplifies the Hobey Baker spirit! This young man of character who’s selfless service to the community helps to proliferate a love for the game and true sportsmanship. As the Captain of the Beavercreek Hockey Team he led his team to a SouthWest OH League Championship for the first time since 2006. He also set the record for the most goals by a defenseman. Braden is the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Youth Ambassador for the Dayton area, and travels around state to educate young people about the condition and show them there are no limits to what they can do through hard work and a positive attitude. He is the Beavercreek Youth Council Vice President providing community service projects for our community, and Student Council Vice President where he organized and led the teams that provide mentoring and a family welcome to incoming freshman.
