Ben is an outstanding teammate and person. He is looked to as a leader on and off the ice for his work ethic and support he shows all his teammates. Throughout the year, Ben was moved around the lineup, even when things were not going his way on the ice, he had a smile on his face and supported his teammates through tough and sometimes emotional times. Often Ben would pick up his teammates out of public view with a kind word. The energy Ben brings to the rink is going to be hard to replace after he graduates.
In the community, Ben regularly and eagerly volunteered to work with youth players and students with the same enthusiasm he brought to our team throughout the year.
