Benj has shown what a player can do and how much a player can develop by working hard. Three years ago Benj was a third line player fighting for ice time, but was given the opportunity to play more than expected because of our short roster. He is a sponge when you teach him and his work ethic is off the charts. A captain on the team this year, he has made the team his team and takes pride in every aspect of his team and his life. A 4 point student in school is something that you would totally expect when talking to Benj, and once you spend any amount of time with him he shows you immediately what high character he has with everything he does. His team mates look up to him and listen when he talks because everything he says and expects of his team mates, he already expects of himself. Benj has worked so hard that he has been offered a spot to play for Butler University in the ACHA next year.
