Ashton Renken fits all of the criteria for the Hobey Baker Award. Voted by his teammates for captain came as no surprise. He is natural leader, with the desire to win. He leads by example, as well as with his voice. He brings spirit to practices, and plays with intensity. He just makes everyone around him better.

Ashton is on the honor roll at school. He plans to become a registered nurse, and then become a nurse anesthetist. Iit gives me great pleasure to present to Ashton, the highly coveted 2024 Hobey Baker Award.
