Anya exemplifies the character and commitment to team that embodies this award. As a 5 year Varsity player, she often shows willingness to play multiple positions (in game!) and dedication to doing what is best for her team in her humble confident manner. A master shot blocker, bumps and bruises are common. Where Anya really shines on ice is in her powerful and strong skating stride. You notice her speed and power. She’s learned and worked and dedicated time to improve her skills. She often wins critical face-offs for her team.

Off the ice Anya is funny, smart and happy to share a laugh. She excels in the classroom as a straight A student and has committed to play Division 1 softball. She also enjoys lending her time to various charities.
