Anna is our Senior Captain (the only ‘C’) whose season halted in November before she underwent career ending back surgery in January. For the 12 games in between, she’d still wear her full equipment so she could support her teammates on the bench as our Captain, and is hoping to return to the bench by playoffs to continue doing so. Anna was born to lead this team and has been viewed that way by her teammates for years. What she doesn’t have in size, she more than makes up for in effort, dedication and competitiveness while maintaining an unmatched respect for the game and kindness to her teammates.

Anna was also voted as the AAA winner for AVHS for her excellence in Academics (3.99), Arts (State Speech, Valley Select Choir) and Athletics (Hockey 5 year Varsity). She is the epitome of character and well-roundedness.
