Amelia has been an unbelievable leader and role model for her teammates both on and off of the ice. As a player she is certainly one of the most talented and productive players in the state.

But she is an even more exemplary leader. She continues to work as hard or harder than every player on the team and she is always supportive and positive with herself and teammates.

As the team has gone through it’s ups and downs over the season. Amelia has been a consistent leader for the team. Helping to show her younger teammates the right way to represent themselves, the team and their schools.

We are a very young team , while our only two seniors could both be nominated for this award. Amelia has consistently done all of the right things. She truly embodies what it means to have the highest quality character, integrity and work ethic that all athletes should strive to have.
