I want to nominate Aiden Parrot for the Hobey Baker award, a senior who demonstrated his leadership this season on the Fort Wayne Renegades. Our team is a newly formed team here in Fort Wayne with players coming from many different backgrounds and experiences. They came together well with leaders like Aiden who led both on and off the ice. Aiden mentored a 1st year player resulting in significant development with this player all season. He gave this player positive reinforcement, provided tips to help him understand the game at this level and overall looked after his well being. Aiden also helped the coaching staff on and off the ice and was a great example. Aiden always showed respect, and worked hard to improve. It has been a pleasure having him on the team this season.
