Aidan exemplifies the principles of the Hobey Baker High School Character Award through his demonstration of team leadership, positive mental attitude, and work ethic. Not only has he been an outstanding member of the Bloomington Blades on the ice, but he also demonstrates his leadership off the ice by maintaining academic excellence. The Bloomington Blades have been fortunate to have his leadership for the past four years as the starting goalie of this team. Not only is he coachable, but he is also the perfect sportsman, never saying a negative word about a referee or opponent. He is truly a student of the game, despite being the best player on the team, he is always wanting to learn more and asking questions. He is loved by his teammates and makes the rink a fun place to be for the entire team.
