Adam Yost
2020 | Michigan | BOYS
Dearborn Divine Child | Falcons | BOYS
Adam Yost was the heart and soul of the Divine Child hockey team for the last two years. Just watching him play, it was evident that he was one of the best goalies in the state. Behind the scenes, though, it was clear that he was one of the best athletes and competitors in the state. Every single day, practice or game, he prepares like it’s the last game of the year. His mental preparation is unmatched: he is unflappable in a game. While that kind of mindset was beneficial to him, it might have been even more helpful for his teammates, especially this year when he was a captain. He was able and willing to help his teammates remain focused no matter what the state of the game was.
Away from the rink, he is a hard-working, respectful, and modest person who always puts his family first. He is an academic all-state award winner, and he has a great reputation within the school among teachers in all departments.
Our program wouldn’t have had any of our recent success on and off the ice without Adam Yost.
