Told with an uncanny eye for detail, Frozen in Time: A History of the U.S. Men’s College Ice Hockey Championship is a deep, perceptive portrayal of every national tournament played to date, beginning with Michigan capturing the inaugural title at the iconic Broadmoor Ice Palace in Colorado Springs in 1948 to the University of Denver’s record-tying ninth championship in Boston in 2022. All proceeds from this book will benefit the 501(c)(3) non-profit Matt Brown Foundation, which provides equipment and other assistance to individuals living with serious spinal cord injuries. A native of Winchester, Massachusetts, Brian W. Shaughnessy is an avid college hockey fan and a historian of the sport.
