Phase 1 of the Hobey Baker Fan Vote ended its 55-day run by smashing all previous voting records.

College hockey fans recorded 190,746 votes on the Hobey Baker website and gave six nominated players more than 10,000 votes each. It’s the biggest voting total in the history of the award.

Now, as the votes of every Division 1 hockey coach are being tabulated, we’re starting to prep the Top Ten video, which will highlight the performances of the 10 finalists for the Hobey.

Those finalists will be announced at 9 a.m. Central time on Thursday, March 20, and the next round of fan voting will begin here on our website at the same time. You’ll be able to vote once per day until Midnight on March 30th.
