Tyler started playing hockey as a sophomore in High School and embraces everything good about the game. He is well aware that he is not even close to the best player on the ice, however he is the BIGGEST cheerleader. All he ever asked was to practice with the team, just wanting to be part of the team. Tyler is fully committed to the team, showing up for everything, his character shining through at all times. He is coachable to the nth degree, one of those kids that, while not the best, is playing at or above his comfort zone and abilities, always striving to get better, be better.

At the start of the season he did not dress for varsity, but again was at every event, ready to do anything asked, helping on the bench and hyping in the locker room. With some injuries, Tyler was given a chance to dress for a few Varsity games and has been humble in knowing that he’s dressing because of his commitment to the team and the effort he puts in every practice. He’s only had a few shifts, but continues to display the character and integrity that every coach wishes for in a player. Tyler is one of those kids that coaches don’t forget.
