When I saw Savannah play for the first time, I told my daughter that this is the type of player you need to model yourself after. She is hardworking and positive on and off the ice and I know she competes in multiple sports. Savannah caught a skate across the thigh during a game last season and she missed 2 shifts while the injury was butterflied and played the rest of the game. She ended up requiring stitches for it but never complained and continued to battle. Her work ethic and attitude holds her up as a true leader.
