Sam started playing varsity hockey as a thirteen year old freshman. Her competitive nature has promoted all players around her to work harder. Sam has only received one minor penelty in her four year high school career, which is a demonstration of her sportmanship qualities. Sams character, sportsmanship and love of the game not only made her team better, it made the game of hockey better.
