Olivia has been a 5 year letter winner at Simley. She has grown tremendously as a person first as well as a hockey player. She has learned that truthful and honest conversations are critical in all we do. Olivia is this seasons team captain not because she is the best player but because she is a leader on and off of the ice. We have watched her navigate the challenges all young athletes have from the sport (ups and downs), emotions, to friends and to new player relationships. She has led her team whether she was playing a lot, a little or watching from the bench. Olivia has learned the qualities it takes to be a good leader and realized how much more to it there is than just playing the game.
