Kabe is a standout individual with a great demeanor. The thing that impresses me most is his even steady attitude about everything that comes his way. He has a natural ability to weather the storm. He is quick to smile and make light of a situation. Makabe will be successful in whatever you chooses to do in life no matter what stands in his way. I had the pleasure of coaching him twice in his hockey life. Once when he was new to the sport as a squirt and now with an encore performance as a senior. He hasn’t missed a step and is well deserving of the Hobey Baker Award.
