Luke, a senior is our captain on a very young team. the majority of our players are freshmen and sophomores. He has done an excellent job in leading and mentoring the younger players. Despite a less than stellar win-loss record he has been very positive and set a good example in practice.
He has done this while dealing with the death of 2 good friends from school. Additionally, his brother was in a horrific auto accident and will be rehabbing for months to come.
Through all of the adversity, Luke always shows up at the rink with a smile and a positive attitude.
