She was selected based on her quiet dedication to her team and sportsmanship. Kylee has played hockey for 10 years and has always showed up for practice, never complained, communicates well, takes direction from the coaches and did what was asked of her. She was not always the best skater or scorer and was hardly ever in the limelight, but this did not keep her from doing her best to support her team. She is respected by her teammates and always tried her best without reminder.
