Kiernan has been selected as this year’s Hobey Baker recipient got Toll Gate high School because he represents the high standards we expect from our student athletes. He works hard on the ice and in the classroom resulting in success in both areas. Kiernan was nominated as a team captain this year, showing the respect he has among his peers and his coaching staff. As a defenseman, he is willing to take on bigger opponents, play physical, and block shots along with making plays out of our zone and jumping into the play to help make our team better. Kiernan also brings a positive attitude and strong leadership to the bench and locker room. For these reason, Keirnan is our nominee for the Hobey Baker.
