This is a team of exceptional people, especially this senior group. They have held this team together through its ups and downs, illnesses and injuries. To choose this years Hobey Baker Award winner, we left it up to a vote of all our players.
Katie was chosen because of the hard work and dedication she has for this team, her school, and the community of Burnsville. Katie is an unbelievable person who volunteers to help give players rides home and do extra things for the team if needed. She excels in the classroom and on the ice. Katie possess a never give up attitude and will be successful in life because of the character she possess.
