The day before the HS season was to begin Kaitlyn went into cardiac arrest while playing in the championship game in the PPL. Thankfully her life was saved by the fast acting trainer and others that day. After having a defibrillator installed Kaitlyn returned to skating shortly thereafter. 28 days from her incident she played in her 1st V game of the year! She is an inspiration to us all. She embodies the statement of “adversity builds character, and character builds excellence.â€_x009d_ Kaitlyn loves the game and she loves her team.
