Arundel High School Varsity Ice Hockey | Wildcats | COED

Josie is the Assistant Captain on the Arundel HS Varsity Hockey team and has demonstrated excellence on and off the ice. Her leadership and integrity are exceptional, and she continues to work to improve not only herself but those around her. Her teammates rely upon her for help whether in the classroom or on the ice. Josie has been recognized locally, regionally and nationally for her educational accomplishments, particularly in the areas of science and mathematics, as well as being an Honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society. She is a devoted Girl Scout and successfully participated in many community and school initiatives, such as volunteering at the Senior Home Center, collecting food for shelters, creating a YouTube boating safety video for teaching the basics for kayaking and canoeing. Josie has an unquestionably strong character and is extremely coachable. Her communication skills are excellent, especially with her teammates. Josie is always ready and willing to take on new challenges. She is my most flexible position player and I can put her in any situation, and she continues to excel. Josie is a natural leader who has a bright future and I expect her to be very successful. Hobey Baker would be proud to recognize her as am I.
