Ethan is a senior captain (A) defenseman and is the ideal candidate for this award. Ethan has a 4.2 gpa, always gives his best effort, and is always there for his teammates. Ethan is a lockdown defenseman and in two years has not scored a goal, but he makes no mention of that. Ethan was not selected to be on the power play, and he does not let it bother him as he knows what is best for the team and he preaches that. Ethan took a freshman who was struggling socially with the team and HS Hockey under his wing and that player has come out of his shell and became more comfortable around the team and the game. Ethan has the utmost character, does not take penalties, and strives for perfection by doing the best that he can. Ethan always puts his team first and is a first-class person and hockey player.
