Perhaps one of the most prestigious recognitions in interscholastic play is the Hobey Baker Award. Without a doubt, Dylan Waterman of Exeter-West Greenwich High School exemplifies what it means to be this year’s Knight-Wizards recipient. Although quiet in demeanor, his play is anything but that. A fully committed player both on and off the ice, he is respected by his coaches and peers, while feared by opponents. A lethal shooter and force to be reckoned with, Waterman had a very successful four year career. Beyond the ice surface, his character is top notch. Number nine will be missed donning the C for Benny Magiera’s home team. Congratulations, Dylan, we can not wait to see you continue your life with the Hobey Baker mindset in all of your future endeavors.
