David O’Brien exemplifies the meaning of this award. It starts with his attitude and consistent approach to the game. He leads by example and uses his hustle and hard work to guide the younger players. As a coaching staff, we can always count on David to push himself and ultimately his teammates to reach their full potential. He is quiet by nature, but a fierce competitor and reliable teammate. He is a coach’s player who always brings the highest level effort and sportsmanship. He will be missed but his imprint on the team will always remain.
