Dalton is a three year letter winner with the Cherry Creek Bruins. He has been an assistant captain for our club for the past two years. Dalton has been the ultimate team player and has done everything asked of him. He is a consummate teammate, who is very polite and supportive of his teammates. In addition to being a leader on the ice, Dalton has finished the season with the second highest point total and one of the lowest in penalty minutes. Dalton is committed to his team on and off of the ice as well as he assisted in The Colorado Avalanche Learn to Play Hockey Program. Dalton has helped create and keep a culture that future players will benefit from.

In addition to a successful hockey career with the Cherry Creek Bruins, he has been actively involved high school off ice activities. He has also played varsity tennis and went undefeated in doubles competition during his senior year.

Dalton has also been involved in Young Life. This summer, he will be traveling to Baja, Mexico with YoungLife to volunteer at an orphanage within the community building homes and serving the needs of others.

Dalton has exemplified strength of character, integrity, commitment, teamwork and community leadership. For these reasons Dalton Baker this years Hobey Baker award winner.
