Colby LaSalle is what every coach looks for in a player. He is an excellent student, comes prepared to the rink, is a focused and fierce competitor, hard worker, respected by his teammates, exhibits true leadership qualities both on and off the ice and is an All-State goaltender.

Colby’s stats as of this writing for the season are as follows:

5-8, 408 saves with a 89.7% save percentage and a 3.87 GAA.

Although some my think these stats are not the greatest, Colby is a major reason why the Lancers have been competitive in most games this season. He stands on his head and has made some impressive save throughout the season. His leadership in the locker room and on the ice inspires his teammates to elevate their game to the next level. Colby has a bright future ahead of him and embodies the spirit of what the Honey Baker Award stands for.
