Chase is a has been on the Varsity team for 2 years, and a Ralston Valley hockey player for a total of 3 years. In his junior year, Chase was a scoring treat from anywhere on the ice and led the team as well as was a league leader in points. His senior year Chase was a know asset from his junior year and a constant target for the opposition to take away. Against the opponents top lines, Chase continued to produce not in goals, but also in the asisit column. Down the stretch of the season with multiple season ending injuries to top line players, Chase stepped up to continue his senior campaign. 17 points in the final 7 games including 2 huge goals in the 3rd period of the final regular season game to clinch a Conference Championship.

In a greater show of character, in the final two games that were needed to close out the season and clinch the conference, Chase asked that the third and fourth line guys close out the games. At a time that was essential to solidify our season he knew that they could handle the moment and slid down the bench. After the game he said, In any of our big wins (this year), it was the third and forth line guys that played the best, without them those wins don’t happen.
