As a student athlete & 3 year varsity letterman, there is no doubt Charlie does his best to succeed both on and off the ice. He loves the sport of hockey which is the central force that drives him to work hard to accomplish his academic as well as athletic goals, whether it be studying to ace an exam or rallying his teammates to dig deep for a come from behind win. Earning the trust & respect of teammates is not always an easy accomplishment, but through personal growth and maturity, he has arrived this season as the complete package. The coaching staff and teammates recognized this early in the season only to name him an assistant captain in his junior year.
Charlie’s skillset, academic excellence, leadership, & sportsmanship have assisted in elevating the OJR High School Hockey Program to another level.
