Charles is truly a deserving candidate for the Hobey Baker High School Character Award! He has been an important part of our Dublin Jerome Celtic Hockey program for the last four years (2018 – 2022). Charles played defense on our JV team as a freshman and sophomore, and moved on to varsity for his junior and senior years. He was elected captain of the 2021-22 team by his teammates, and his effort, leadership, and attitude has been an important part of our team’s success. When our JV teams goaltender was unavailable for several games over the last two seasons, Charles volunteered to step in as the emergency goaltender without hesitation. Charles has great character! He is unselfish, he is committed to our team, and he shows great courage on and off the ice/.
