Cambria is being selected as this year’s 2021-2022 Hobey Baker Character Award because of her strong character qualities as a teammate and a leader. Cambria has been a two year captain for the Raiders, and for good reason. Cambria is an exceptional teammate, athlete and student. She shows high character and discipline in all facets. She shows others around her what it means to be fully dedicated to your sport and your teammates. Cambria has the ability to make an impact on those around her– and in multiple ways. Cambria shows her teammates how to be a good teammate by showing empathy and genuine care for their well being. Cambria has played an intricate role in helping me establish our team and program’s culture. Cambria is a very special young woman and I peel the privilege every day that I get to be her coach and life long friend.
