Carolina Junior Hurricanes | Hurricanes Sled Hockey | COED

Brayden Kai made an immediate positive impact when he joined our Jr. sled team two seasons ago. Like all of our players, Brayden Kai has some physical limitations which make it more difficult for him to do some things, even some of the everyday things that most of us take for granted. However unlike most of us, he doesn’t see those limitations as obstacles; he sees them as opportunities. Every time he takes the ice, he’s laser focused on what is possible, rather than what the rest of the world tells him is impossible. His attitude is contagious, and it elevates everyone around him to be better teammates, better coaches and just better people. Brayden Kai embodies each of the four criteria taken into consideration for this prestigious award, and everyone involved in Hurricanes Sled Hockey thanks you for that consideration.
