My fellow coaches and I have coached Ashton for the last 2 years and can attest to his upstanding qualities and how his positive energy infuses his teammates. He is driven and competes at a high level, never complaining. He always looks for the positive side the game and never dwells on the negative. Once when our team was winning big, Ashton took intuitive to tell our team to stop scoring and to pass it around, to not show up our opponent. His gamesmanship and respect for the game of hockey is contagious. He has used these opportunities to be a leader and an excellent teammate. Ashton is a steading force and a pleasure to coach.
