Zane is a senior goalie and an assistant captain on our team. Our team would have been lost with out him on the ice. He saw over 45 shots a game and ended his career in our last game stopping 60 shots! Of the ice Zane is one of the nicest, most driven high character kids you will find. One story that comes to mind, is this season we had a JV player loose his dad. Obviously a terrible event for this player, but he still wanted to play and be with his teammates the next day. Zane made a point of asking us coaches if this player could take warm ups with the varsity and then say a prayer for this player out on the ice with the whole team before leaving the ice. It was an amazing gesture from Zane. One of the many things he did that showed his character and that he thinks about the team and his teammates before himself.
