Zak joined our varsity ice hockey program in his junior year. He did not play any organized hockey prior to high school, but brought with him a love for the game, an interest in learning, and a strong desire to contribute in any way possible. In particular, as a senior, and despite limited playing time, he has displayed tremendous leadership, exemplary sportsmanship and an outstanding hockey IQ. Zak is not the only member of our team who personifies this Character award, but is especially deserving, due to his perseverance and desire to support and add significantly to the fabric of our team.
