In terms of Academics and the Hockey program, St Thomas Academy strives for excellence.
Given the demands of the classroom and the hockey team, Zach is an exceptional young man to represent STA as
our Hobey Baker winner. He is at once, a player who will do anything asked of him for the good of the team while simultaneously
doing little things behind the scenes very few know about. Along with the other Co-Captain he consistently would stay on the ice to move the nets for the Zamboni driver then stay later to make sure the locker room was clean before he left for home. Zach’s work ethic and leadership was a major contribution to our young team winning both the conference and the top seed in the section playoffs. Zach represents the ideals embodied in the Hobey Baker Award.
