Zach is a senior Captain for our hockey team, He went through a tough year as a senior. In the fall Zach was the quarter back for the high school team and in a game he broke both bones in his lower leg. After Surgery and some muscle repair, Zach slowly came back to the team and started playing again. About a week ago he found out that he has a scab in the bone that every-time he pushes off to skate it breaks open and causes pain. Zach wants to be a Doctor and go to medical school. He is a 3 sport Captain, he leads our team not through play but wisdom. He has shown us the staff so much leadership and character this season by keeping a positive mindset, always supportive of team and showed nothing but the fact he is a true future leader in his community, and TEAM.. He emphasizes what this award is about in everything he does. During this tough time he has been the key to keeping the team going and for that he will get this award.
