Zac McKenna
2015 | Ohio | BOYS
Watterson | Bishop Watterson Eagles | BOYS
Zac has exemplified, over his four years at Watterson, EVERYTHING that this award represents. He was selected as Captain (Senior Year) and Asst. Captain (Junior Year) by his team. He excels in the classroom and on the ice. Zac is why our program has evolved to such a competitive level.
He cares foremost for others before himself and has such a positive attitude. He is an excellent student athlete who brings out the best in others.
He did whatever was asked and more. I never had to worry about him on or off the ice.
His outstanding sportsmanship is exemplified by his desire to help others that have just taken up the game. He takes more pride and thrill from helping someone score their first goal or learn to play than anything else in the game. Zac is a true ambassador of hockey.
Zac has volunteered his time for numerous years with the inner city hockey program in order to grow the game in all communities. He has also volunteered as a counselor for numerous clinics for youth hockey.
Zac McKenna is the epitome of the Hobey Baker High School Character Award.
