Will has exuded all the characteristics of a leader throughout his three seasons with the Chantilly ice hockey club.  He is a fierce competitor, hustles every shift regardless of the game situation, works to make all the players on the ice with him better, sticks up for his teammates and will always encourage and coach up his teammates when necessary during practices and games alike.  

Off the ice, he works hard in the classroom, earns high academic marks, treats his peers and the adults at Chantilly High School with respect and just has a good natured sensibility about him.  Will demonstrates all of the qualities that are deserving of the Hobey Baker Award.
