Will is not only a very good hockey player, but he is also a coaches dream. He is President of Orono Unified which helps with Special Olympics. In October Will suffered a horrible leg injury requiring surgery. While in the ambulance the first person he called was the family of a down syndrome child he was suppose to chaperone to a dance that the Orono Unified was sponsoring to let them know that another student would be picking up their child. Will has worked his way back onto the ice and played in the final 3 games. He never missed a practice or game during the duration of his recovery. He is the definition of this award.
