Tyler has played 4 years for me on the varsity level. As a freshman he was a true leader from the start. This year he is my senior and captain of the team. The leader ship that he displays in the classroom and on the ice is what a head coach is always looking for. I always choose the captains of my hockey teams because it is not a position that should be chosen by the players. I knew as a freshman Tyler would be my captain someday because all his hard work and efforts in the classroom and on the ice have proven to me by being excepted to Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg. He will be studying engineering/building construction at Virginia Tech in whatever position in his life that he receives he will excel from day one.
