Growing into his role as a leader and eventual captain was the beginning steps for Tristan in growing as a hockey player and person this year. Tristan has shown perseverance in trying to communicate positive and meaningful messages in the low times of the season and also helped in trying to bring the team together as a whole. Looking for guidance in how to grow as a leader, Tristan showed that he was willing to learn the priorities and practices of effective leadership. Tristan has grown into a impactful leader both on and off the ice both in his service to the team and the surrounding community. Always trying to do what is best for the team and hockey community, Tristan has involved himself so that he is able to improve both.
