Travis is one of the hardest working and most humble players I have coached. He shows up to practices and games with a fierce competitive spirit each day. Travis is a calm and confident individual who makes others feel more relaxed and helps bring out the confidence in others. He always has a sly little grin on his face along with a little chuckle and this helps others feel welcome and comfortable when he is around. Travis’ relentless work ethic and attention to details along with his strong hockey skill-set have made him an outstanding goalie. His work ethic, skills, knowledge, selflessness, and love of the game have earned him the respect of his teammates, coaches, and opponents both on and off the ice. Travis demonstrates his outstanding character every day by being a great teammate, leader, and friend. He is an outstanding hockey player and a wonderful person. Travis is very deserving of the Hobey Baker – High School Character Award.
