Tommy Verdick is a great example of the rare traits Hobey Baker exhibited in his life and hockey career. The traits that are prominently used to describe Tommy’s personality and actions throughout his hockey career are outstanding. Like Hobey Baker, Tommy is coachable, has a strong positive character, shows integrity, is always committed to doing whatever the team needs to the best of his abilities, leads teammates by example, through good and bad and always represents our program with exemplary sportsmanship, integrity and loyalty. His steady, team-oriented, personality was truly a vital part of our team’s success. His teammates and coaches recognize and thank him for his contributions.
