Toby Essay embodies everything this award is about. A relentless competitor, a natural born leader, a hard hat and lunch pail kid that knows he controls how he shows up and the effort he puts in.

Toby is a leader in our school with numerous volunteer opportunities including Project4Teens, helping with youth hockey mites, managing the boys soccer team, etc.

Toby’s actions match his words, and he’s earned immense respect from his teammates and coaches. He works hard, believes in uniting his teammates to try and accomplish a goal for the good of the group, and is committed to making our program a better place than when he leaves it than when he joined it.
