Tim is the true meaning of a team player. Tim is the type of player every coach loves to have on their team. As a player he is always ready to help in any way that he can to make his team better. Tim’s effort is never in question, it is always 100%. It is important to note that when the team had some player’s return 1/4 into the season, Tim’s playing time took a hit. When I went to explain it to him he said I get it coach whatever you need me to do for the team. This is what Tim Newcombe is all about. that is why Tim Newcombe is a well deserved recipient of the 2019 Hobey baker award.Thank You for being such a great teammate.
