Thomas Osborne
2026 | Maryland |
Severna Park High School | Falcons |
I have coached Tommy since 2019 when he was just learning to skate. Tommy has been committed to the game of ice hockey and loves the game. Year over year, he is consistently improving. He portrays all traits of the Hobey Baker character award. He is respectful and easy to coach. He is intelligent and quickly adapts to what a coach is asking. He is the player first in line to demonstrate a drill. Even during tough times climbing the levels of youth hockey, he maintains a positive attitude and does whatever any coach has ever asked of him. He works hard at everything he does on and off the ice and never complains. He teaches the game to other players. He leads by example, and in the last two years, has been leading with his voice within teams. His integrity is off the charts. He is there to play the game the right way. He urges others to remain positive on the ice and on the bench. He will pull teammates away from scrums. He is an Alternate Captain for his high school team. He has earned this with everything he has put into the sport for the last 7 years. He is an effective playmaking forward and plays both ends of the ice. He recorded his first high school hat trick this season. Tommy is the type of player any coach would love to have on a team. He is of perfect character. Tommy Osborne is what the Hobey Baker Character Award is all about.
